Mammig: a child who clings to his mom's leg all day and prefers his mom over everyone else. A pappig child, on the other hand, favors his dad. Annika is most definitely a mammig little girl, but has her pappig days too :-)

We've been reading August Strindberg and similar texts in my Swedish high-school-level class. By the way, how funny is it that I got a VG- and G+ in the exams, but a 3-year-old girl in Annika's daycare doesn't understand my accent? For my birthday Edward took me out and I shopped till I dropped... for clothes for Annika! We got:

• A POP snowsuit
• Three long-sleeved shirts/onesies
• Three thick sweaters
• One sleepsuit
• Three very cute pairs of pants suitable for winter

Our teacher likes to pair us up and let us talk in Swedish with our fellow classmates while he goes around the room eavesdropping :P One day he gave each pair a bag with little slips of paper with verbs written on them.
